Throughout my life I have been blessed with the companionship of “angels”. They have come to me in the form of friends, relatives and even strangers. They have come to me at some of the lowest and darkest points in my life.
As I look back on my life, I am grateful that they have been there to inspire, uplift and carry me when necessary. I am grateful they have been there with listening ears, understanding hearts and open arms. I am grateful that they listened for and heeded the promptings of the spirit and were there when I needed them the most.
Most of all, I am grateful for a kind and loving Heavenly Father. I am grateful for my knowledge that He is aware of me and that He loves and watches over me. I am grateful that He has sent some of His choicest children into my life when He knew that I needed them. I am grateful that I know that I am not alone, that I am not a spiritual orphan.
As I reflected on the angels that have been there for me throughout my life, I contemplated what my life would be like if they had not been there. What if they had felt they were too tired or too busy to heed the spirit’s promptings? Or, what if they just weren’t listening?
Thinking about the prospect of my life without these “angels” made me wonder how many times I might have been someone’s “angel” but missed the opportunity because I was too busy or too tired. How many lives could I have made better if I had been listening more carefully to my Heavenly Father?
So, while I began writing about my gratitude for the angels in my life, I am ending it with a resolve to be a better angel in the lives of others…..

I am so sorry if I have been too tired or busy when you needed me sweetie!! I will try my best to be a better “Angel” in the future!! Thank you for the inspiration and reminder that I may be needed to help others too, not just others helping me. Usually when you pop in to cheer me up, I never think you may need cheering up yourself, for that I am so sorry! You just always seem cheerful, and happy, so I never know when you need “picked up”. I tend to make it more obvious, and come right out and say it, and my love, you are always right there for me! I don’t know what I would do without you, and I’m so glad and thankful God brought you into my life through Jason. Jason, I know we have thanked you before, but I am doing it again, thank you for allowing God to use you as a friendship portal, and bring Sandra and I together. God also brought me together with another friend through you as well. Sandra, I hope in the future, I can be the “Angel” you need me to be!! I ask one favor, just please be forthcoming, and tell me if you are hurting, or down, I want to properly be there for you love! I love you sweetheart, and you are a wonderful Angel to me!!! <3
